A teacher's power for inspiring human good and developing human potential spans generations. Reflecting on my nearly 40 years in the high school classroom as a teacher of Visual Arts, and in the athletic arena as a coach, I realize how many lessons my students taught me. Lessons of courage, acceptance, wisdom, humor, tenacity, humility, kindness, determination, human commonality, and more. Our collective power for inspiring human good and developing human potential has no equal.
